Business Office Mission

The role of the Business Office is to provide financial support services to our educational program and to safeguard District assets.  We are responsible for all the financial data and reporting for the District.  We develop and monitor the budgeted expenses and revenues, administer payroll and benefits for both employees and retirees, and facilitate the bidding and purchasing of all the goods and services utilized throughout the District.

Our mission is to provide the most efficient and economical financial support service to our students, staff and community. Business Office departments include Payroll, Purchasing, Treasurer, Accounts Payable, and Tax Collection.  Additional departments that report to the Assistant Superintendent for Finance are Transportation, Buildings and Grounds, and Food Services.

Health Insurance Information

Health insurance is available to employees based on the terms of their collectively bargained agreements or individual employment contracts. Plans are available as follows:

DEHIC EPO Select - available to members of CSEA, PCT, PAA, CSAA, and to COA and M/C employees

DEHIC ALT PPO - available to members of PCT, PAA and to COA employees

DEHIC HA PPO - available to members of CSEA and CSAA

Dental/Vision Insurance Information

Dental/vision insurance is available to employees based on the terms of their collectively bargained agreements or individual employment contracts. Plans are available as follows:

CSEA Employee Benefit Fund

  • available to members of CSEA
  • enrollment is done through the business office

PCT Welfare Benefit Fund

  • available to members of PCT and PAA
  • enrollment is done through PCT

Guardian Dental and Davis Vision

  • available to members of CSAA, and to COA and M/C employees
  • enrollment is done through the business office

FSA/Dependent Day Care Information

This benefit is administered through The Preferred Group and must by designated each year during open enrollment.

Flexible Benefit Plan Brochure

Medical FSA

  • $200 annual minimum for 2025
  • $3,300 annual maximum for 2025

Dependent Day Care

  • $5,000 maximum for 2025 ($2,500 if married, filing separately)

2025-2026 Open Enrollment Period Information

The Open Enrollment period for the 2025-2026 school year runs from May 1, 2025 through May 22, 2025. During this time you may:

  • enroll in a flexible spending account**
  • enroll in a dependent day care account**
  • add, drop or change your health insurance plan
  • add or drop eligible dependents on your health insurance plan
  • add or drop your dental/vision plan
  • add or drop eligible dependents on your dental/vision plan

You must submit a form to the business office if you are planning on doing any of the items listed above. If you are not making any changes to your health or dental/vision plan, you do not need to take any action. Your existing coverage will automatically continue. 

**FSA and dependent day care forms must be submitted each year. They do not automatically carry over into the next year.

Any changes will be effective July 1, 2025.

If you are eligible for a health insurance buyout and you are planning to take advantage of this benefit you must fill out and submit a form indicating so by June 1, 2025. In order to receive the buyout you must provide a copy of your health insurance card as proof that you have alternate health insurance coverage.
